TRIP ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE:
Fri: July 1st: 2 options to meet up
1. Meet in Kamloops at 12:30 pm at Kenna Mtn Bike Park in Kamloops to ride with Aaron from Sun Peaks. There are both blue and green trails available. Be ready to ride by 1 pm! We will ride till about 3:30 pm or 4 pm then go to Riverside Park in Kamloops to take in the Canada Day food and fun. Live bands on stage. There is also a huge art fair. Park as close to park as possible and walk down. Don't take your bike; no place to lock it up.

Art in the Park @ Riverside Park
Art in the Park is the largest arts event in Kamloops and is organized by the Kamloops Arts Council (KAC) as part of the City of Kamloops Canada Day celebrations at Riverside Park. The full day of arts exhibitions and sales, demos and performances is free to the public. Approximately 30,000 people attend the event each year.
More than 90 artists will have their handcrafted and original work on display in 2015, from painting and pottery to fashion and jewelry. The event also features live music, dance, and theatre performances for all ages. 9AM to 5PM
Directions to Kenna Park. Take exit 366 off of five. Turn left at the light on the off ramp. After you clear the highway on ramps take a left at the stop sign go about 100 yards Kenna park is on the right.
2. Go straight up to Cahilty Lodge. Check in is 3 pm.

LIFT TICKET INFO:
Lift tics are available at either the bike shop or guest services, just say you are with Snojoke to get your discount. You buy your own tickets each day based on the activity you want. Hours on the mountain are 10 am to 7 pm daily.
The bike lift tickets through Guest Services will be $41 pp plus GST
The hike lift tickets through Guest Services will be $18 pp plus GST
The 1 lift on the chair to access the lift accessed XC trails that rate will be $25 plus GST.

Introduction to the Bike Park
Everything you need to hit the Bike Park for the day. Includes a two hour lesson with a local coach, Bike Park lift ticket, full suspension downhill bike rental, and all protective gear; full face helmet, gloves, body armour, leg pads, and elbow pads. We've got you covered, now get out there!

2. If you already know how to ride, group up and go up to the park. The lift you take is the Sunburst Lift.
3. XC on the mountain: 2 options; maps available in the lobby
Pay option: Buy the 1 lift tic pass up the mountain to access trails
No Pay option: Morrisey has many trails, pedal up to them.

4. Paddle Boarding at Heffley Lake (just about 15 mins down the mountain on the left).
Learn to SUP with Bodie Shandro, one of North America's very first professionally certified instructors and international SUP competitors. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the fastest growing water sport in the world! SUP is easy to learn and is a non-intimidating activity that appeals to all ages and physical abilities. Participants are able to quickly progress and develop the skills necessary to improve fitness or simply enjoy the experience of 'walking on water'!
All equipment is included; board, paddle, personal flotation device, and leash. Participants 12 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult, comfortable in the water, and able to swim.
What to bring: Appropriate dress for the weather; please note that it is always a little cooler on Heffley Lake than in Kamloops. Dress in layers and bring a shell, towel, sunscreen, sun glasses, water to stay hydrated, and a warm change of clothes. You generally only get wet if you want to. A 48 hour cancellation policy applies for all sessions.
Jump Start Paddle Board Lesson
Each session includes Safety and Equipment Orientation for approximately 20 minutes, and lake time is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes.

These sessions concentrate on developing proper paddling technique to engage your entire body, and introduce participants to the tranquility of yoga on the water.
Each 1 hour session integrates an on-board warm-up, callisthenics, interval paddle, and a relaxing stretch/yoga cool down in one of Heffley Lake's most spectacular bays!

6. Road bike riding: 2 options
You can ride back down the road we came up to Sun Peaks on
Sun there is a group ride out of Kamloops that has 2 levels through the Grasslands Cycle Group. Meet up is in Riverside Park, leaves at 9 am. I am getting more info on exact meet up location. Grasslands Road Ride July 3. I plan to attend and will coordinate carpools down.
7. Golfing: info available in the condo lobby; call for your own tee times.
