Description
This is a very scenic and mostly rural ride from Woodinville north through Maltby, Snohomish and Monroe. The plan is to take short rest breaks in both Snohomish and Monroe. Please bring along snacks to consume during the ride.
We then plan to gather afterwards just over the hill at Kary York’s Lake WA waterfront condo to BBQ and cool off in the Lake. Kary has large party rafts anchored in lake.
Bring
- a bathing suit
- a dish to share & your choice of something to drink and barbecue.
- swim suit
- water shoes for lake
- sun screen
- beach towel
Kari’s address will be available at the ride.
The ride is mostly flat but does include a fairly long hill at the start of the ride out from Woodinville and one as we climb back out of the Snohomish valley on our return. We will regroup at the top of hills.
Pace will be moderate, (14-16 MPH) in the flats. Cue sheets will be provided for those who wish to ride slower or faster.
Rain cancels. Check with leader if in doubt.
